These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Domis mobile application, website, services, and related products (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, using the Service, or accessing any part of Domis, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Domis helps homeowners manage, organize, and care for their homes using features such as:
Domis uses third-party AI providers to power certain features, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for infrastructure and hosting.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Domis. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected breach. Domis reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
Definition: "User Content" means any images, videos, audio clips, scanned and/or process images, documents, text, inspection reports, notes, questions or additionally, any materials related to “Ask Domis” (or any future name of said service) or any other materials you upload, submit, or otherwise provide to the Service.
By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant Domis a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to use, store, reproduce, process, analyze, and display that content to the extent necessary to provide the Service. This includes processing by Domis and its third-party service providers (including AI providers) for features such as — but is not limited now or in the future to — extracting item details, generating maintenance tasks, and creating images for you.
Domis uses AI providers to perform image reading, text extraction, document summarization, and generation of stylistic home images. User Content is supplied to those providers only as necessary to perform the requested processing. Some user-generated content, such as questions posed in the “Ask Domis” feature, may be used for future training of a Domis AI model.
You must not upload User Content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise violates the rights of others. Domis may, but is not required to, refuse or remove content that violates these Terms.

Domis uses Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for hosting, storage, and compute. Uploaded files and extracted data may be processed and stored on GCP servers in the United States or in other locations where we or our service providers operate.
The Service integrates with third-party providers to deliver functionality. These include, but are not limited to Google Gemini and Google Cloud Platform.
Your use of third-party features may also be governed by the third parties' terms and privacy policies.
Domis is free to use at present. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If and when we do:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for system maintenance or security reasons. On termination, your access to stored content will be disabled. Unless otherwise required by law or agreed to, Domis may delete retained data after termination in accordance with our retention policies.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Domis does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet all expectations. AI outputs (such as extracted model numbers, summarized tasks, or generated images) may be incorrect or incomplete. You should verify important details (for example, model numbers, warranty information, or inspection findings) with primary sources or qualified professionals.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Domis and its affiliates will not be liable for:
In jurisdictions that allow limitation of liability, Domis' total liability for direct damages will be limited to the amount you paid Domis in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount such as $50), except where prohibited by law.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach thereof, including but not limited to any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the design, development, license, sale, or use of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, large language models, or generative AI systems, tools, or products, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Domis, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on our website or in the app and indicate the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a posted change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes, we will attempt to give advance notice via email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of law principles. You and Domis agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Tennessee for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Domis regarding the Service.
